Curriculum

Dr. Mike Middendorf
Dr. Middendorf has published a two-volume commentary on the book of Romans 为 the Concordia Commentary series published by Concordia Publishing House. He also co-authored a New Testament textbook used here, 和 at other Concordia 大学, titled 被福音召唤. He has also enjoyed working on an archaeology dig 为 three summers at Hippos on the shore of the Sea of Galilee in Israel.

Dr. Scott Stiegemeyer
After serving congregations near Pittsburgh, PA和芝加哥, IL, bioethicist 和 theologian 斯科特Stiegemeyer joined the Faculty at Concordia University Irvine in 2015. A 1991 graduate of Concordia University in Ann Arbor, MI, he attended Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN from which he earned his mater of divinity. During his time in the 芝加哥 area, he earned a Master of Arts in 生物伦理学 from Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL 和 later completed a doctorate in 生物伦理学 from Loyola University, 芝加哥. Dr. Stiegemeyer writes 和 教es in the areas of 教会历史, 生物伦理学, 身体神学, 和 Christian ministry in contemporary American contexts.
